How can I make my fingernails look nice without polish?

Category: Uncategorized

I hate fussing with nail polish but I want my nails to look nice. Do you have any tips?

I know exactly what you mean. Nail polish is nice but I can’t stand when it starts chipping off. I don’t have time or the inclination to fuss over redoing it all the time, or even to remove the old chipped stuff which looks terrible. Fake nails would just drive me bonkers too, especially if they fell off, sort of like wearing a pair of stocking with a run in them, if one is missing. Instead I do the very basics to keep my nails looking. Keep your nails clean and filed to whatever length you like. For me that is just enough length to look a little feminine but not so much that it drives me crazy and gets in the way of what I need to do. When my nails get too long they start to irritate me. To give them a nice shine though, just invest in a simple nail buffer from your local drugstore or beauty supply store. They don’t cost much and are a lot less expensive than constantly buying nail polish and that horrid smelling nail polish remover. They are really easy to use. To buff them you just run the buffer quickly back and forth on the surface of your fingernails until you get a nice sheen on them. If you do it right, it shines like clear nail polish and gives your nails that nice finished professional looking touch. The buffer is small enough to carry around in your purse too and it is a soothing process to do. It’s a nice touch, without the fuss and bother. Mama Nono
