What are nuts good for?

As long as you I’m going crazy and eating too many of them nuts can be very healthy for you. Studies have shown that people moved to eat nuts as a regular part of their diet, lower their risk of heart disease. The healthiest nuts for your heart are pistachios, walnuts, pine nuts, hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts and pecans. It is better to eat unsalted nuts. Nuts are high in fiber, which is good for digestion and in helping to stick to prevent heart disease. Nuts are high in selenium and in vitamin E. They do contain fats but they are mostly the good fats polyunsaturated and monounsaturated. Those supposedly lower the LDL cholesterol and also lower general cholesterol levels. Nuts are a natural food source and better for you as a snack choice than packaged snacks like chips, cookies or high calorie content junk food. Nuts are also a source of protein. They have magnesium, copper, zinc, phosphorus, selenium and folate. They will fill you up in a much more healthy way than junk food will. There is not much preparation involved in eating nuts. You can buy a lot of them already shelled, but if they are not shelled all you need is a nutcracker. They are healthy for children and adults, although obviously babies and very young children cannot eat them or very young children should only eat them with supervision, so that they do not choke on the nuts. Nuts are easy to add to or prepared foods to in order to enhance their nutritional value. Mama Nono
