Who makes the best chocolate?

Chocolate has a passionate following and everybody has their own personalfavourites. I can only give you my personal opinion and not a definitive answer since chocolate is such a personal choice. Some people prefer the lighter and smoother taste of a milk chocolate. Kids seem to prefer it more often too. Dark chocolate is a much stronger and richer taste but a really dark chocolate can also have a slightly bitter tang to it. That is why it is often called bittersweet chocolate. I like both but I get in the mood for one or the other at different times. As to who makes the best chocolate, that is according to taste or what you are used to. My favourites come from all over the western world. My top favourite chocolates that are relatively easy to find are the European, Dutch, English, and Swiss chocolates but there are standards in North America I love too. There are wonderful chocolatiers all over the world. Watch a chocolate lover’s face when they take their first bite of a favourite chocolate candy or concoction and you will see bliss in chocolate form expressed on their face. Ask me one day and I will say one is my favourite chocolate maker. Ask me on another and I may tell you something else. Chocolate as many of us know it, is served sweet but there are foods made with unsweetened chocolate which is a very different taste. So who makes the best chocolate is a question that is likely to start a lively discussion amongst chocoholics. Who makes the best chocolate? That is your own choice.
